What do you really need to hear today?

What do you really need to hear today?

Whatever you're needing to hear, please know I'm sending it your way.

Maybe it's that you're loved.

That you'll succeed.

That you're going to get through this.

That it's simply going to be okay.

The wait will be over.

And no matter the outcome know you can handle it.

The sweet spot is coming.

All will be well.

All is well.

So, here I am today waiting for you in the sweet spot.

And sending all that you need to hear in this moment.

Here's the Beauty of Love...

It just is.

Love knows no constraints of time and space.

It simply exists.

Love can heal in an instant the thing that has been trapped inside of you...broken...crushed...causing you pain for days, weeks, months, even years.

And what better kind of love is there than the unconditional kind.

After all, isn’t that really the only kind?

So in this moment, or in any moment, when you’re needing to be serenaded through life, take a listen.

Stop for a moment and let yourself be serenaded.

And for the moments when I can’t be there whispering this deep into the recesses of your soul, I offer you songstress Alanis Morisette, who has got this tune and this thing called unconditional love down pat. Listen HERE.

Serenading you with unconditional love,

Dominique

Can I ask you something...

Can I ask you something...

You know you are feeling something…

Yet, you aren’t a 100% sure of what that thing is.

It’s something that has upset you deeply.

It’s something that you are spiraling around.

Perseverating on.

It’s keeping you from creating.

It’s keeping your writing at bay.

Your art at a distance.

Your creativity is howling but from someplace locked deep inside.

And when you can’t get at the heart of the matter…

When the root of the problem doesn’t seem to want to be found…

Can I ask you something?

Sometimes in life you have to do the very thing you think you cannot do…

Sometimes in life you have to do the very thing you think you cannot do…

You have to break the board with your bare hand.

Walk through the door that has been stuck for years.

Say good-bye to the Soulmate Love that it turns out was neither Soul. Mate. Nor Love.

Break the engagement.

End the marriage.

Turn down the contract.

Pull yourself off the grant.

Drop the course.

Let the business go.

Say “no” to the degree, and “yes” to life instead.

Sometimes in life you have to give up the very thing--

You know the one that has never really been the right fit from the start--

The thing that has been unraveling (sometimes for years).

There comes a moment in life when you have to walk away from the very thing that has been keeping you stuck.

You've been waiting for this...

You've been waiting for this...

Here’s to the moment you’ve been waiting for…

And while it might seem as if no one prepared you for this moment…

I’ve been right here waiting alongside you to welcome the extraordinary in its own time.

I’ve been right here next to you, as you’ve been designing your future.

Weaving your story.

Dreaming greatness into being.

Creating something out of nothing.

And here it is in real time.

Right on time.

The baby has arrived all joyful and is perfect and blissed out like babies are meant to be.

Your loved one has learned she’s strong enough to finally have the surgery.

All is well.  All will be well.

Here's the thing I've been meaning to tell you...

Here's the thing I've been meaning to tell you...

In life, you have to allow yourself to be beautifully broken open sometimes.

Or else just know you will unexpectedly be forced to shed.

Broken open or shed…

Either way, at times, the thing that was, is no longer.

The question then becomes do you grapple and try to hold onto forever?

Clinging to the thing that was?

Or do you let your fingers open, releasing your fierce grip, and raising your hand in a gesture of loving gratitude?

Do you embrace an uncertain future?

Cherish changing times?

Root yourself in transitions?

Burrow in and listen with gentle ears to the stirrings of your heart?

Here’s what I’m appreciating about you in this moment…

Here’s what I’m appreciating about you in this moment…

On the days when you break like glass, crumble like sand, and fall from Cloud 9, you still lead with love in your heart.

You forgive yourself for thinking you were out of the woods only to find that the clearing was nowhere in sight.

You are perpetual light always shining like the sun.

For you never say, “You owe me.”

Instead, you love like how the sun loves without needing or wanting or asking for anything in return.

Simply rising each and every day and being there.

Like how your breath breathes and your heart beats…

You are consciously loving all.

And look at what happens with a love like that—a love like the sun—it lights the whole sky.

So keep being the sun.

The gift I promised you...

The gift I promised you...

Recently Dr. Jane Karwoski (a.k.a Dr. J)  invited me to be a guest on her highly popular and informative podcast The Social Network Show.

In the show, titled "Stress-free Creating," we explore:

  • What creativity coaching is and how everyone can benefit from it.
  • A key technique for asking yourself the powerful questions to get you from wanting to work on a project to actually getting started.
  • The one practice you can start immediately to re-energize you and your projects.
  • My “recipe” for crafting calm and getting yourself to a state of being “Just Whelmed.” (Thanks Dr. Meggin McIntosh for introducing me to the idea of being “Just Whelmed” years ago.  Yes, Meggin is the coach I refer to in my interview!)

And you have absolutely no excuse not to listen as below are a host of ways for you to access the podcast and download it for FREE.

Here's the most amazing thing about miracles...

Here's the most amazing thing about miracles...

Here’s the most amazing thing about miracles, they actually happen.

When you can’t escape your uncertainty, you just have to believe.

I can show you how to believe.

I can show you all the love and good things waiting for you.

When you’re truly hurting, you just have to believe.

I can show you how.

I can show you the miracles waiting to show up.

One by one…

Just waiting for you.

Have you been thinking about this too...

Have you been thinking about this too...

Have you been thinking about this too...

What’s holding you back?

What is it that’s keeping you camped at the fork in the road?

Fear that it’ll be too hard, too much work, too overwhelming, too stressful, too painful?

Worry that you won’t get it right?

A limiting belief that ultimately you’ll disappoint yourself, disappoint others?

An inner gremlin taunting you, telling you that if you fail it’ll all be your fault?

Your inner critic saying you’re not good enough, not worthy?

Your core wound triggering you to say this is never going to work out?

Everyone around you giving you their opinions?

Fearing the harsh judgment of others?

Believing that the time is never going to be right to finally catch the big, little, and beautiful things you’ve been chasing?

Concern that disaster is going to strike if you risk big and go after your heart’s desire?

A nagging feeling of shame or guilt for following your bliss and dreaming bigger than you’ve ever dreamed before?

Worrying about all of it, endlessly, on repeat, loop after loop, replaying worry after worry again and again.

It's okay.

Take a deep breath.

When everything around you is broken...

When everything around you is broken...

So what do you do when everything around you is broken?

At first, it’s the little things, the misplaced keys, the phone that gets lost again and again and then suddenly stops working all together.

The computer that keeps crashing.

The car that won’t start.

The email account you accidentally delete.

Everyone’s phone numbers that you just mistakenly erase.

And then it’s the larger things that begin to break…

This year promise me you will love. create. madly. deeply. truly. completely...

This year promise me you will love. create. madly. deeply. truly. completely...

This year promise me you’ll love, create, madly, deeply, truly, completely.

Repeat to yourself the wonders of this phrase…

Inter nos perite amare volumus

Ah, Latin for “We agreed to love each other madly.”

Darling, it’s officially a New Year.

A New You.

What are you hoping to love, create, madly, deeply, truly, completely this year?

The one thing I hope I never have to hear you say…

The one thing I hope I never have to hear you say…

The one thing I hope I never have to hear you say…

Words I long never to hear you have to say, “It might have been.”

Don’t utter them sweetheart…

Don’t even think them for a minute.

Don’t even think for a moment that this dream of yours might not be.

Instead, listen deeply to hear in your heart the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Don’t be pushed by your problems.  Be led by your dreams.”

Please, don’t worry that it won’t all be.

It will be.

I promise it will be…

I know you’re feeling depleted right now.

I know you’re wondering where you’ll ever get the energy from to move forward.

Oh, it’d be so much easier just to bury your head back in the sand.

Crawl back into bed.

Sleep for a week.

Disappear and never have to deal with any of this.

But let me ask you this…

A little birdie told me you need to hear this...

A little birdie told me you need to hear this...

A little birdie told me you need to hear this…

Why are you being so hard on yourself?

Why are you treating yourself so harshly?

What is it that you have to feel guilty about?

What is it that you keep mulling around in your head over and over and over that you just can’t let go of?

I know you feel you hurt someone.

I know you feel you let someone down.

I know you feel the disappointment.

I know you feel like you’re no longer worthy.

I know you’re scared to step forward in this moment.

Afraid the work isn’t good enough.

Afraid you aren’t good enough.

Afraid the Universe no longer has your back.

Afraid this is the moment that everything falls apart.
